V.6.12 Pompeii. February 2019. Amb. 25. Atrium corner with outline of stairs.
Of particular note in the atrium of Narcissus is the still visible trace of the stairs which lead to the upper floor, but above all the rediscovery of a dozen glass containers, eight amphorae and a bronze funnel in the space under the stairs, which was used for storage.

V.6.12 Pompeii. March 2024. Amb. 7. Portrait medallion of a female figure adorned with jewels and holding an olive branch.
On the central panel of each wall there is a clipeus with a female portrait, two of which have already emerged in 2018: one captured in a pensive attitude; the other, with a veiled head, is characterized by a twig. The ongoing investigation has revealed two further portraits of great refinement: a female figure adorned with jewels and characterized by the presence of an olive branch; the other characterized by a crown of vine leaves around the head.

Amb. 35, tablinum

V.6.12 Pompeii, December 2023. Amb. 35, tablinum.
Behind the atrium (room 25), three rooms (35; 44; 45) and a corridor space (44) have emerged.
From the atrium one could access the corridor and room 35 which probably represented a tablinum.
The visible decorative scheme is limited to the upper area and the top part of the middle area. Faux architectures are represented, such as aedicules surmounted by winged griffins and blue pergolas, in turn delimited by red banded squares on a white background. Inside, amphorae framed by garlands. Painted pinakes are placed near the middle register. Between the aedicules there are squares with stylised and monochromatic animal figures

V.6.12 Pompeii, March 2024. Amb. 40, corridor.
Immediately north of Amb. 35 is an entrance from the atrium into a corridor with an E-W orientation (Amb. 40). The plaster decorations are divided into two bands: the base with a white background and the middle register with a black background. In both cases, touches of colour are added that recall, in a perfunctory and 'impressionistic' manner, different types of marble.

Amb. 45, cubiculum

It was only possible to define the limits with the wall crests.

It is possible that before the separation that occurred in the last construction phase, Room 44, together with the corridor (Room 40) and the adjacent cubiculum (Room 45, of which it was only possible to define the limits with the wall crests that emerged during the tiering of the eastern side), were part of an originally larger room that was perhaps a mirror image of the tablinum.
